I love this woman already.

Turns out it had nothing to do with meth. Has anyone actually ever been able to buy the working stuff recently? I gave up trying when it just got to be such a pain in the ass. You'd ask, they'd say you need to ask at the counter, the counter drone would take you to the bullshit that's on the shelf. Or maybe that's just where I go. I refuse to buy any of the "new" formula crap, so I just live with a stuffy nose half the time.

In one of the little gadget tents, looking at tie-dies and bootleg recordings.
Guy behind the stand asks me "Hey, you need a little something...extra?".
Gave him a gentle smile and said "Man, that stuff just sobers me up."

Yeah, but only when I go to a real, stand-alone pharmacy. Big-box and add-on pharmacies (Walmart, Target, etc.) make it a real bitch to get--partly, I think, because it doesn't count toward their requisite 250 scrips filled per hour mandate.

I'd send ya some, but that would probably piss off some DEA dweeb with nothing better to do.

I bought "real stuff" last month. I had to show my license, which was entered into "the system", and they ran a criminal background check. For Advil Cold and Sinus. A fucking background check. Never mind the fact that I sneezed violently during the process and green snot went flying. Obviously, I was there for the meth.
