One fine day, a bunch of us were hanging around the card catalog table in the BCC library, just shootin' the shit. Among us was a rather tall black dude. So our friend Bill comes walking up, and as usually happens with a tall black dude he asks if the dude plays basketball. TBD says no, and Bill expresses incredulity. TBD is all like omgwtfnaacp. Bill defends himself by saying "Hey now, we have this other friend who's really tall, and people always ask him if he plays basketball, and he always says no." Then someone else says:

"Yeah, but they believe him."
