Also, I finished American Gods. Reminded me a lot of Cryptonomicon, in that it had that looooooooooooong, rambling, and sometimes rather pointless form to it. Just seems like a good portion could have been chucked, and no harm to the story done. Maybe this is why I'll never be a writer, I can't imagine ever using too many words. But still, good book, and you should go read it.
Now, I'm off to start on
docbrite's Drawing Blood over dinner.
