Is there a point to an mp3 program not supporting mp3s? I'm talking about xmms, of course, on Redhat. And I'm lookin' at you too OpenBSD.

Mp3s are stealing! People who listen to them are thieves, commies and terrorists!

I don't remember what I had to do to get mp3s to work with mine. Because when I first started with suse, neither amarok or xmms would play them. I am so glad I'm over that awkward phase of wondering why the hell NOTHING worked on this damn thing.

It's because Linux fanboys like to whine about patents and whatnot. At least with OpenBSD you can add the stuff you need, although they don't tell you that and I just assumed the damn thing was broken. I hear Ubuntu is really good though.

I don't like ubuntu.

I'm pretty sure all I had to do to get the mp3s working on this is change the engine on the players, and I'm not sure what the difference is here. You can add everything you need on this, as well.
