You know, I don't totally disagree with your Mom, but I know better now. It wouldn't make me anymore interested in Hilary over Obama, but there was quite a few reports of a guy in the upper leadership of Kenya that was supposed to be Obama's Uncle. Now, is that a bad thing? Yes, I think it is. Anything that the potential president touches that relates to Kenya could have a stink of nepotism. That said, Obama claims that he is not related to that guy, but does report that he does have some distant family ties. Other reporters have supposedly investigated and said that the relations are very distance. Further, the issue isn't Kenya, it's relation to another gov't. If any of the current crop of nominees have an Uncle in any other gov't it would definitely influence my vote.
