Heck of a runway.

I really need to do something besides post links, but nothing ever happens to me anymore, unless you count talking idiots into fixing their email.
Ok, that's not totally true. I got my new mp3 player yesterday. I posted a pic, but I guess no one could tell what it was. :-(
Anyway, the main reason I bought it was to overcome the horrible boredom involved in doing any kind of exercise. I'm horribly out of shape. So I'm starting out by walking to the beach, about...I dunno, half a mile maybe. I get to the beach, smoke a cigarette, and turn around to walk home. And what happens? It starts drizzling. For like, 4 seconds. After that, I don't think there's a word for it short of "fucking hurricane". So I ran over to this kindergarten building on the corner and stood under the awning, with my clothes already soaked. There were quite a few people milling around, I think they were having an open house or something for the parents since it was 5-ish. So I stood there the whole time hoping my mp3 player hadn't gotten wet enough to fuck it up mere minutes after I'd gotten it.
Today, I saw a really hot chick in a bikini on my walk to the beach, and a couple cruise ships heading out.
Bonus:
It's hard to describe just how horrified I am while changing light bulbs. If, while screwing one in, it gets power and turns on, I jump about a foot and nearly have a heart attack.
