Like that "christian" church that protests the funeral of dead soldiers? yeah, it's only one family, but they speak of them as though they are the entire of christianity.

Well, what they're worried about is conveying the message "get this vaccine and have all the unprotected sex you want!" which you KNOW is how some people will view it. Very few, very stupid people... but some.

If it really were "very few" people, then I hardly think a company like Merck would invest in persuading them at all. There are far too many people who will listen to Jerry Falwell or James Dobson say "this will open the door to *GASP* OMG people having SEX without having to worry about the consequences!!!" and blindly agree without a single thought. I can't even imagine Jesus saying "do as they say" about these clowns, but they do hold a lot of sway.
