You know what works well for waxy build up in the ears? A water pick. These were devices originally designed for the teeth, but if you need to pressure wash your ears, they do just fine.
They're awesome. I had a great excuse to go out and buy a pair (they were sold in pairs) when we were having pigeon problems, since the landlady would not let us kill them. All they accomplished was getting the pigeons to fly higher on the building, so they could still crap on our windows but would be out of range. No matter Hasbro's claims, water only goes two stories when firing upwards.
And the first day we had them, of course we had a big water fight. Those things can get you wet.
