This amendment protects marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman as husband and wife and provides that no other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized.
How the fuck is that anything but "we do not approve of anyone else's lifestyle, and furthermore if you even try to recieve the same benefits we do by calling it something else, we won't let you"? It's a little weird to see hate speech on a fucking ballot.
Besides, I think the people you want to fuck over would suffer more if you outlawed wearing leather, just sayin'.
And omg omg there's a couple NPA's running for Representative. Squee. Too bad they're probably a giant douche and a turd sandwich too.
