ok you know i have a thing about toilets (they are not bathrooms! they do not have baths in them!)...anyway, i was in the US when the Larry Craig toilet incident broke and i was most curious to notice that though the media focused on cruising codes forEVER, not one story that I found ever mentioned the - to me - astonishing fact that you American people have ENORMOUS GAPS in your toilet stall doors. i don't just mean above and below the doors, but what's with the gaps along the hinges so you can see in? I mean, easily see in without even trying to. I find it weird particularly in a supposedly prudish nation. I find it weirder that no-one questions it.
