There was a similiar incident here in Michigan a few years back. In this incident, both girls survived, but they were so banged up, and so out of it, that it took the families some time to realize they were each at the wrong daughter's bedside. They too had been misidentified, so both families had gone to the other girl's bedside. In this case, I feel so bad for the family whose daughter died, and you have to wonder what the other family has gone through thinking their daughter was dead, but now is alive. They could have aged considerably in that time. Some people have died from emotional shock after finding out that a child had been killed. What a horrible situation.
