Where did they go? Yesterday, I tried to click on one and got an error about the tag not existing. Now, they just don't show up on my journals page at all.

You can't use tags with the S1 style system, numbnuts. They just don't work. I WAS WONDERING WHY ALL YOU IDIOTS ARE EVEN BOTHERING.

Um. Sorry, you lose.

Certain display aspects don't work without S2, but the data's still stored and relevant.

It's only relevant if S2 is enabled.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that either you or I need to view my entries on livejournal in my default style.

No, but to implement them into your default style (which is what the topic of this post is), you need to be using S2.

No... [livejournal.com profile] ogw's problem was a temporary systems problem, in which tag records were inaccessible (and listed as not existing when clicked, as a result, rather than "you can't view tags with an S1 style"), and were not shown on entries (because the DB was inaccessible long enough that the cache died).

But, hey, you go ahead and have the last word.

Well, about a week or so ago, I clicked on one of your tags, and it said that TAGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE WITH S1, LOL. Or something like that.

I never used them. No loss for me.

There is currently an issue with tags with spaces in them. They're aware of it. It's caused by the plus sign. If you change that to %20, it'll work, if you have an S2 style. They're showing up in my journal.

Would that cause none of them to show?

Apparently it might. When I go to the edit tags page, I get "Error Sorry, one or more specified tags do not exist." when I click on any tag with a space, but I get the entries when I click on one word tags.

Yeah, that's the exact issue I reported to LJ Support. That's solved by the %20 replacing the plus sign. They're aware of it and working on it ... supposedly. Single word tags without a space have no issue. I think they probably made some database request change, and the plus sign isn't being converted properly ... or something, 'cause they did work at first.

I dunno, I changed a tag with spaces to %20, and no luck. Still get the same error.

Ok, I get it, change the + to %20 in the url. Fucked up. But why is only one recent post showing any tags at all? Weirder.
