i used to only use vi, but now i've found that i pretty much don't have a preference in anything when it comes to software, and i'll just use what's most convenient (pico, nano........ms word)

i'd use vim when i was in windows (not anymore, i don't do any sort of programming now a days -- so i guess it's notepad all the way for me right now, and that's for basic html or just me jotting down notes. it came with windows, so wtf why not)
