Damn, this guy sounds like a real douche.

“I’m an incredibly bright person, but I was always put down and putaside,” he says. “In college people would turn around to me and ask mequestions. I would explain things to the other kids, but then we’d takea test and they would get an A and I would get a D.”

Originally, Hoyt’s plan was to be a rock star. After arriving in NewYork in 1988, he played around the East Village with an industrialsynth band called Lysdexic (a nod to his disability), then made a demotape that never got picked up by a label. “What Korn is doing now, Iwas doing in 1988,” he says. “If I had just stuck with it, I could havebeen Nine Inch Nails or Linkin Park.”

Hoyt explains that he has dealt with his various disappointments bythrowing himself into fast and dangerous sports. He has screamed acrossmotocross courses, bombed down ski slopes. “Then I moved to New York,”he says, “and everything just kind of stopped.”

Without skiing or bike racing as an outlet, he took to exposing himself in public.

Sure pal. You're one helluva genius who's just been shafted by bad luck and New York. You're so obviously suffering because of your noble and sensitive nature. You're the most misunderstood kind soul in the world. *snicker*

Fuzzy Memories #905

One time, in first grade, we were to write a story about how importantit is to make everyone feel welcome. I wrote a darling story about alittle colored kid that couldn't get any friend. Then one day, he founda magic soap, which washed the black away. Suddenly, everyone wanted to be friends with him.

Yeah.

Our school counselor had a field day.

Ok, that wasn't really me.

Neither is this:
My little brother and I were fighting one day. My mother told us tostop it or we would get time out. I told her if she would have kept herlegs closed everything would be fine. I got time out anyways. I wasabout 7, and wanted to be an only child. I still tell her that to thisday.
